A slight change in plans have me moving to your neck of the woods so to speek i will be moving to ida grove ia. about an hour or so from blair neb. i figure maybe 1 1/2 hours from you. ive got some small rivers to run locally but would like to come over and check out your area . does your club have regular get togethers or meeting that platte river looks like fun to me

our local club don't really have regular get togethers but the Nebraska association does. http://airboat-naa.org/ is the website and they have an application that you can print and mail in (anyone can be a member) and they also have a schedule of events like poker runs, rodeo, and a Columbus run. I am not a member yet but have been going to the rodeo for a few years now. Its a good time and there are a LOT of nice boats that go. The rodeo this year is on 7-23-05. The location where it is going to be is close to a public ramp so you could trailer to Valley, NE and boat the rest of the way. They should have some pictures and even a video of past rodeo's. I'm in Fremont which is about another 30-40 min west of Blair.
