I don't see why either ignition system would matter (other than tuning for it). In either case you would only be using the sniper to control fueling. The standard Pacemaker is not configured for external ignition advance control, but I don't know everything they offer.

I've never delt with the Sniper, so just guessing that it "might" need a tach input for tuning (particularly idle), which the Pacemaker provides but would need to be added with mags.

Call the Holley tech line and talk with them, they are really help full and will set you up with a BOM for a full system. Tell them you will not be controlling timing and ask what inputs/cables the system needs. Make sure they know it's an air-cooled aviation engine on an airboat. If you are ready to pull the trigger, get them to put together and price a full package, then ask for a package discount. If you ask they will quote you 10% off on a full package right off the bat and send it to you on email to review.

Also tell them if you are using Av gas. I think I read somewhere avgas messes up the 02 sensor.

The O2 that comes in their kits won’t handle the lead, but they sell one that they claim will. Either way, once it’s tuned in you can pull the O2 and lock the tune so it runs open loop.
