Thank you c chardt for bringing the subject up, and thank you AlaskaTours for your support. I can only imagine what it cost to keep this site up. I gained but a glimps of that reality at a couple of recent shows SA participated in.

Rick is always the first to say that SA does not belong to him but that it is ours. It is a resource for all airboaters.

Most sites run off of advertising revenue and thus the relentless "pop ups". Chris layed it right out there with membership numbers where they are there should be more supporters.

Not only is SA a fun and informative tool it also has value. Decide what it is worth and do what you can. It was very rewarding to be part of the SA team at the Palm Beach and Broward shows and I can tell you that Rick and Teresa are very gracious and thankful for the support.

Thanks to all who support and continue to support. Like CaneFan said, this web site is ran with the money from site supporters. Rick does a great job in making the web site run smoothly and I am glad to be a part of this big family. Please do not think we are trying to push site supporting down your throat because we are not. We want all to be a part of the southernairboat family no matter what. If you are able to support, that is fine and if you are not that is great too. We are just asking those who are able to, to please support this great site.

well I was in when this site first opened and boy has it came along way. can't wait to see how much more it will grow with a little funding from the members.
