Whats everyones thoughts on the diff between two and three blade carbon props. I got a 12' cottonmouth witha 220GPU and a five blade 70" warp drive. I think the warp drive prop runs great in the water but i do alot of dry runnin and the prop just feels like it dont cut it. Anyways times are tough and its alot of money that i dont wanna spend on a prop if it aint gonna be the best one for my boat.

Yeah 2nd the Q series I'm very happy with my Q I went from a whirl wind stump puller to the Q series 12' hull 0470 with a 72" Q major differences

Provided that your engine runs decent, I can't see why the setup that you have can't be made to work pretty good.

q series is best for everything but speed on an aircraft engine.then a warp drive rules.whirlwind seems to do best on car motors.i hava 4blade warp drive and wouldnt run anything else on my pe-90.its brutally tuff and the cheapest to rebuid.but for general all around on a 6cyl. gpu,a 2 blade q-series.

I read a lot of good reports on this site about the Sensenich Q for the 220 GPU and I finally bought one. I should have done it sooner. I think the 5 blade you have could be made to work but if you want the Q, you won't go wrong. If you don't like it I don't think you'll have any trouble selling it. I sure like mine.

In a 3 blade prop you could only run the H-series standard blade. The 3 blade Q-Series would probably be to much for your GPU if it is stock. Sensenich calls the 3 blade H-Series more of a speed prop as the 2 blade Q-Series is more of a pusher. Hope that helps a little.

Get the Q Series you will like it! I put one on a 220 and the push is very good (heavy hull) can run dry with two big guys and cooler.
