How do ya think this boat will run??

Might be a great frog boat or fishin boat

Probably not a hill burner, but if it's running right, probably wouldn't use a lot of gas

I used to run a 12' fiberglass hull with polymer and an 160 hp 0-320. It turned a 66-36 prop at 2800 rpm. It would run the hill if I was by myself. It didn't handle extra weight very well. It sounds like the motor may be a little under propped unless it is 150 hp.

hill {hil} n. 1 A natural elevation rising above the earth's surface and smaller than a mountain. 2 Airboaters term for dry ground. Running the hill.

now hang on for just a minute,
I believe there is a real difference between just being able to "run dry" and actually being able to "run the hill".
I had a boat that would do just fine without water on fairly even pretty level ground like going across a pasture, but it didn't quite have the stuff to climb hills.
I have seen some boats run up hills so steep I wouldn't think of driving a 4x4 up.

I road up BS hill with my old motor and prop at lake Kissimee with no problem I bet with my new set up I could really fly up to the to I guess that would be considered running the hill.

What do you guys think about a 12x7 light hamant with 160? How do yall think that will run?

Thanks Geneva I might have just made up my mind lol. Probably still gonna search everyday still though.
