How to get unstuck on a mud flat.

I met some duck hunters one time that where stuck on a mud flat.
They brought a ski rope and added a handle to the other side as well then with one person on each side they would use it like a piece of dental floss and scrape it under the boat starting at the bow working it all the way to the stern then jump in and take off. I was shocked to see how well ot worked for them.
The boat was under powered but was able to get off the mud flat by doing this little trick. Just thought I would share it incase someone else needed to try it.

I think I know what "someone else" you might be thinking of...

It does sound like a good plan, not that we would ever need it ourselves or anything. But maybe someone else who ever gets stuck in the mud might be able to use it. Because we don't really get stuck in the mud anymore. But maybe we could just bring one along on our boat in case someone else might get stuck. Yeah, that's it. Just in case, for someone else.

Laura it wont work on a road now that you and matt have taken to the highways with your boat. I'm thinking pretty soon your gonna have to consider turn signal & brake lights for that thing yep and maybe a tag.

Country, we always use hand signals on the boat, they're still legal. As far as brake lights, everyone pretty much knows not to follow us too closely. Some know better than others. Hah
