I would really like to go cruzin this weekend in 3A. Does anyone know if there was enough rain last week to make a difference. Hope so.

Hey Bravo1218, still not looking good. I was at Holiday Park a few days ago and a BSO airboat was loading up and he said it was real nasty past Crossroades. For some reason all the rain we have been getting is not getting pumped out to Area 3, all the canals by my house are still down approx 2 feet. I think the water is being pumped out to the ocean.

Thanks for the heads up. Randy is going out tonight and going to call me tommorow and let me know how bad it is off of MM35.

Saturday we went to try and make it out to our camps Duck and Hawk. Got out to 41mm ramp and there was no water across the canal so we went back to the 35mm ramp and took a ride out to Crossroads. After hearing the reports of people stuck and game wardens getting stuck trying to rescue them and all, we ended up heading back and not beat up on the boats. I am hoping the water comes back soon, here we were closed for 5 months due to high water and now can't go out because of no water for the last 2 months. I have had a 4 month riding season this year!!!! This is ridiculous.

Yes Area 3 is still very dry. I was out Sunday on the 4 wheelers in western Area 3. There was a buggy at the microwave canal swimming hole and he was headed to the pipe trail heading east toward Duck Camp. I do not know how far he made it but I have never seen it this dry before, for this long.

Went out Monday on the 4 wheelers. We put in at McCormicks landing on the Indian Reservation. No water at the landing. There was a little water in the trails about half way to the microwave canal but nothing outside the trails. If I had to guess about Area 3, putting in at Holiday Park or off the Alley, I would say it is still to dry to have a good time.

killed some time yesterday morning at Holiday park boatramp. The airboat guide told me going west on the holiday trail you can get to Andrews Ave sign no problem, just a little mud, but past there it gets dry.

if you head out from holiday park, take the trail to the north that goes by NoTell Motel and then to crossroads, stay off the holiday trail until the water comes back. just west of the new river canal before you get to turtle head it is still very dry.

I wish you'd wash your truck AB4fun.
That should cause it to rain some more down there!

I'd do it, but I don't live close enough to do any good in the glades.

I'd let ya come on down to wash my truck. hehehe
I tried washing the truck and all it did was just use up more of that precious wet stuff, NOT ENOUGH RAIN YET, I even tried a rain dance and all it did was make the next-door neighbor laugh

was on the north end of 3a last sunday on four wheelers, didnt even get mud on my bike. i didnt know it could get that dry. had a great time, but no place for airboat to be.

Were gonna take the 4 wheelers out to the north end of area 3 tomorrow and ride , anybody else heading out ?

airboat4fun How are the water levels in area 3 ? I saw your pictures by Bergerons on July 4. Did you head out any further ?

Hey Rdm20470, the last set of pics were from Fathers Day. But I was out this weekend and the water is coming up just a couple of inches in most of the sloughs, With the skinny water it makes my big'ol D-Back handle like a real airboat.
I made it out to Smoaks Camp, and ran into someone who said there was water all the way to Hawk/Duck Camp. There was enough water in the main trails, there are still rocks showing near The Reeves Camp (9 1/2-Bill Vaughns old place) and around Bregerons, if you get adventurous it can still get sticky. We still need rain

Randy:
I guess I will wait for a while longer. sticky is not something I want to go for right now.

Went out today from mm41 ramp. Water is fine, never even ran across any mud from the ramp to Hawk an Duck camps. Had alot of grass to cut at camp from being gone for 3 months but it felt great to be back out.
