HUGE Confederate Veterans' Monument in Tampa

Hi,

With so many airboaters showing spine & proudly flying the flag for The Constitution, States Rights and Southern Independence on their boats, I thought this might be of interest.

Many of you were interested in this Veterans Memorial. It's now in the construction stage and we are seeking donations. Now is the time to donate & have your name or ancestor's name placed in granite on this Memorial which will feature the worlds largest Confederate battle flag. The memorial will abut I-75 & I-4 in Tampa and will be visible for miles in all directions!

Please don't buy into the PC version of the flag and our heritage. With the expansion of the Federal government and our loss of state sovereignty and rights, the issues that caused the war are still alive today. This is a fine way to say "Less Federal Government." and more freedom.

April is "Confederate Heritage Month" in Hillsborough county, by Proclamation of the Hillsborough County Board of Commissioners, with April 26 as "Confederate Memorial Day" (still a state holiday, beleive it or not)

I want/intend to have my name on that monument in honor of my ancestors who bravely fought for what they believed in ! I am proud to be an active part of my Southern Heritage and will show it in any way I can. Old times are NOT forgotten!

The tag is news to me. Like the airboat group, The Sons of Confederate Veterans (SCV) do not communicate very well either, as nothing of the SCV tag was mentioned in my camp, division or SCV magazine. Had I know former NAACP chapter President & ardent Confederate HK Edgerton
would be in Tallahassee to make the presentation, I would have been there too!

All I can tell you is drop your reps a line of support. If the left wants "diversity" it should be diversity in plain English. Our Southern heritage is diverse. The South had one of the worlds most diverse fighting force including, native Americans, (Stand Waite was a Cherokee General) thousands of blacks and Jews (Juda P. Benjamen-CSA Sec of State), Catholics, Hispanics, Mexicans and even at least one Chinese. Unfortunately, most Americans have bought into the PC version of Southern history and rolled over. It's no wonder we're losing rights (hunt, fish, heritage, access, guns, jobs, ect) constantly.

In contrast, Gen Grant issued orders tossing all Jews from his military district, Gen Sherman (as well as most Yankees) resented black troops, of which most went to battle as cannon fodder in front of white Yankees (who were ordered Fixed bayonet & bayonet the blacks if they broke rank). I can go on & on on the compasison & motivation of the all caring, sympathetic, diverse Yankee army (who are well documented in raping, stealing from and abusing Southern Blacks, both slave & free)............

Learn our history because as with most of our heritage, it's under attack from "less than honorable" folks who want God, guns & guts wiped from our collective memories. Just as the NRA has proved, show up armed with the facts & a passion to defend them & we still have a chance to continue our freedoms. If you roll over & become stupid, you may be caught in the next New Orleans style "Katrina."
