Hull Numbers

4" minium size. On port and starboard side near the bow. The Fl registration goes on the port side after the numbers.

there is an exception for airboats that allow the numbers to be on the rudders
the ID numbers must be "block style" and contrasting color so they stand out
make sure there is a space between the letters and numbers
example = FL 1234 XX
I have recieved warnings on 2 different boats from different officers

I am sure somebody on this site can quote right out of THE BOOK-chapter and verse
 
The spacing for the prefix and the suffix must be equal to the width of a letter
 
Isn't there a special section on airboats asto the rudder numbers, most people have the decal on the seat on airboats?
