I bought this rivermaster hull

It looks like a great hull....

Question... Those drain holes look far off the bottom.... is the bottom really that thick, or are the drains not near the bottom of the inside? Or maybe it's all an illusion in the photo.

Just wondering.... it looks like a near mint hull! Congrats!

MWood, for what you're paying for it, it looks like a great buy to me.
About the drain holes ...... I'd add another one right in the middle before you use it much. At wash-down it'll drain 50% faster.

I see that about the drain holes. Why would they put them so high?!!? I was thinking the same thing.... adding a third one low/center to drain it dry... but it never feels good adding a hole below the waterline!

I guess you could always just tip the trailer up to get 90% of the water out.

It's still a very nice hull Mwood... and I have to say that if I had seen it there on ebay, I would have placed a bid myself. ;) Looks like you got a good deal.

matt.

I have a 15' Rivermaster. If it is anything like mine you got a steal. I saw the add on e bay and wondered who would get it. They are built very well. High sided for stability in deep water. Rides good. I don't think you could go wrong for $800.00. The drain plugs are a little high on mine also. I put a piece of cloth through the hole and let it hang down when I pull it out. It wicks the water out.

I have a 14' rivermaster and I think it rides like a dream. I got my for a family boat. The high sides make me feel a little safer with the kids on the boat.

he wanted $ 1100.00 OBO on airboat trader websight
thought about checking it out however with 3 hulls to finish now no
way mamma would go for it.
