Don't ya' just hate it when you find a Trucking Distribution center that has a "Big Heavy Box" to get rid of for a nickel on a dollar cause it's taking up space and they're tired of paying storage fees on it?!? Now what am I supposed to do with this?? Happy Dance!!!

Anybody know if Stossel is still fabricating hulls?

Duck, unfortunately no, Bob Sr. and Boyd have both passed, the remaining Stossels are out of the boat building business. There are a few Palm Beach hull builders out there, they are all busy so you gotta get in line. Welded hulls are much quicker, but you get what you get. I recommend Trevor Booth north of Okeechobee. Trevor learned under Mike Stossel and is building full time now, he builds a fine hull and will treat you right. You got $0.95 left on the dollar from your motor find, so you gotta have riveted hull money left over :violent1:

Finally, yah, don't screw up the hunt rig, one high and one low. You don't want 2 grandkids on a hunt trip arguing in the back seat, the single seat gives you an excuse to only haul one at a time and another reason to go hunting twice as much.

Looks like a cool project in the making :thumbleft:

Thanx Gator, I've heard some good things about Trevor. Looking forward to seeing some of his work. I'll probably head down to Okee next week to see Trevor to get this party started!
