i would like to know if im the only one that receives these letters every time i sell some thing these scams piss me off

Hello,
I came across your advert listing on the airboattrader
web site and I'm highly interested in the advert for
68' 4 blade warp. you place there. Though I read about
it but can i still have more scams about this
wonderfull item. To signify your interest in selling
this item to me, do get back to me with your final
asking price, your payment method(check or money
order). I'll also need a name and address which the
draft could be issued or made payable to, as the
check/money order would be sent via the courier air
mail. Please note that the payment for shipping and
insurance is also included in this draft, and should
be forwarded to my shipping company, after deducting
your own agreed final price, pending the date they
will be coming for the pick up of the item.
Consequently, i'll appreciate it so much if i could
have some more pictures of this item and further know
the present condition of the item as at today. I
strongly anticipate to read from you soon.

Thanks,

your not the only one.. This is a major scam. They started this years ago. I have even gotten similar ones via the mail re: winning a european lottery, Ive never been over seas...

Its all SPAM...

Im in the IT field, and believe me, this is a pain in the A... but we all have to deal with it til this damn hackers get a life...

i get this crap every time i post something on tha trader also, i just reply back to these nigerians with a bunch of bullshit .call em a few names and any other thing i can think of. he he

I get them all the time and not just form the trader, I get so many that there so easy to recognize I hit the spam button without reading

Airboat Trader has warnings up about this kind of dealings. At least they used to. Its a scam and they know it but there's nothing THEY can do about it.

Just low lives trying to feed off the bottom of the pond.

Sadly a fair amount of people apparently fall for this crap, it appears to be profitable for them or it would die out fast when it didn't make them any money.

Scotty :)

I get them all the time. I have some cashier checks here up to $12K . I got the first one about 5 years ago when this first started, and ended up with the feds trying to gather all the info. Now what I do is when they contact me, I go along with it and let them spend their money, cause they usally overnight or use fast mailing of some sort thats not real cheap. Then I block their email. Of coarse sometimes they end up with my phone number and I get death threats. I just chant and tell them I am putting some cajun voo-doo on them and their family. But I get the last laugh after they spend their money thinking they got a sucker. I could probably buy a fleet of new boats with all that bad money. LOL. Yea if you sell something very often, you are bound to get hit on. Later, Cajun
