Immigration Video

Good one Jeff. Long, but worth every second. It does not come across as propaganda nor anti-propaganda. Just facts.

That border with Mexico should be closed. That flying the Amrican Flag under the Mexican flag is not tolerable! And some of those signs the protesters are carrying just about declare war upon the U.S. So why not close the borders?

And that last comment about the muslim terorists in contact with Mexican gangs is frightening. (It's intended effect, I suppose) Closing the border would do much to eliminate that threat.

I'm willing to pay more for some products that are made in Mexico. I admit that I don't know how much it'd cost. But all those trade agreememts sound like we've "bought" this problem!

The longer we wait to "handle" that situation, the more "sleeping soldiers" will have crossed into our nation. Making it even more difficult to handle at a future date.

Good link, Jeff.

I recieved this e-mail yesterday. I thought it was related and something we can DO about it.

"Subject: Negate The Boycott

As you may know, on May 1st, a large nationwide boycott is being planned by Mexicans both legal and illegal; plus those sympathetic to their cause. The plan is to not work, to not go to school, to not purchase from U.S. businesses to show the financial loss to the U.S. economy, thus showing the "power" these several million have to Congress and our Government.

It is the purpose of this E-mail to rally America to negate these proposed "losses" by doing all of our purchases on that day, May 1st. Go to work, go to school, and hire LEGAL U.S. citizens to do the work these protesters would have done. So, put off buying gas, food, and any purchases or hired workers until May 1st if at all possible. Do your own lawn, sweep your own driveway, wash your own dishes, clean your own house or business, or hire a legal American citizen to do it. It's time for America to wake up and send a message of our own to those who think they have the power to change our country to suit their needs and wants. Majority rules, and makes the rules. We just want the rules followed...by everyone!

It's time again for the "Silent Majority" to be silent no longer.

NEGATE THE BOYCOTT ON MAY 1, 2006. "E Pluribus Unum".

Please E-mail this to 10 (or more) of your friends and relatives.

It's URGENT!!"

I decided to do my part for the boycott ... I took the day off and went and bought things I had been putting off.

My neighbor is a concrete contractor. He was home early today because a lot of his laborers didn't come in on a job he's doing.
He told me there wouldn't be any need for them to come in tomorrow either .... or the next day, or the next day.

I saw this BS blown up to world-wide news as I flew from Florida to the Mid-East yesterday and today. It was big news in the UK and its big news in the Mid East.

Let me make something perfectly clear for those that havent grasped the idea yet.

There is no such thing as an undocumented alien, they are ILLEGAL ALIENS !

We do NOT have broken borders, we have a flagrant lack of enforcement of existing laws. We need nothing new but to enforce the laws we have !

Referring to an illegal immigrant and a legal immigrant as though they were the same by just using ONLY the word immigrant is nothing more than an attempt to SPIN the true meaning and distinction.

If they can't do it right then we seriously don't need them. period, plain and simple.

Cheep labor is nice but we pay a much heavier price than just the cheep labor.

Deport them, or arrest and imprison them, ALL of the illegals. ALL OF THEM.

NO AMNESTY, NO GUEST WORKERS. Do it right or GET OUT !

Scotty

Well here is my plan of retaliation since they boycotted us for one day. Let's have all AMERICANS not buy any goods from Mexico for the rest of the week.

Thunder, I like that.

This goes beyond trinkets, too. When I bought my last pickup, I looked at where it had been assembled. The salesman thought I was a nutcase until he realized that I was dead serious. My GMC was assembled in Ft. Wayne, IN .... not somewhere in Mexico. That's the truck I bought.

Bear, AMEN brother!

I received this email from a friend of the family.

US Citizens Working in Mexico....

The following from a director with SW BELL in Mexico City.

I spent five years working in Mexico.

I worked under a tourist visa for three months and could legally renew it
for three more months. After that you were working illegally. I was
technically illegal for three weeks waiting on the FM3 approval.

During that six months our Mexican and US Attorneys were working to secure
a permanent work visa called a FM3. It was in addition to my US passport
that I had to show each time I entered and left the country.
Barbara's was
the same except hers did not permit her to work.

To apply for the FM3 I needed to submit the following notarized originals
(not copies) of my:

1. Birth certificates for Barbara and meI received this email from.

2. Marriage certificate.

3. High school transcripts and proof of graduation.

4. College transcripts for every college I attended and proof of
graduation.

5. Two letters of recommendation from supervisors I had worked for at
least one year.

6. A letter from The ST. Louis Chief of Police indicating I had no arrest
record in the US and no outstanding warrants and was "a citizen in good
standing."

7. Finally; I had to write a letter about myself that clearly stated why
there was no Mexican citizen with my skills and why my skills were
important to Mexico. We called it our "I am the greatest person on earth"
letter.
