I know Rick won't ask but I will bring it up. Tax returns are in the mail. How about thinking about becoming a site supporter if you can. You can click on the member words below your name or the site support link bottom right. You don't have to contribute a lot, but if you can it is the perfect time to contribute something.
If you are already a supporter its the perfect time to consider upping the ante "if you can".
I always qualify these kinds of things with the rpeface that you should always take care of family and home first. Boats are toys. This forum will always have free membership as Rick has directed. That's as it should be. But the site doesn't run for free. It takes money time and manpower. None of the positions, moderators, admins, or even Rick as the owner are paid positions. Those who work here do it for free because they like it. They make a contribution that can not readily be measured, except that if they disappeared this place would die on the vine.
The same goes for finances, it would be terrible if things took a downward turn just due to lack of site support. Things are better all the time and I for one would like to see it continue that way.
remember Im not talking about how MUCH anyone contributes, just that IF YOU CAN contribute something instead of nothing.
I know Rick welcomes everyone here, I also know Rick got this thing up and running out of his own pocket and likely will never recoup that investment. It was an investment in people as much as in the site itself and it is paying off in Spades !
Lets try to keep it going better and better all the time and every day.
