When installing polymer on a fiberglass hull, is there a standard depth to countersink the machine screw heads? Should they be just flush or below the surface a 1/16" or so. Thanks, Dan
 
They need to be flush. The mfg's offer a countersink with a stop on it to keep you from going too deep

Do a search in this forum and you'll find more info on installing polymer
 
If your are nut and bolting the polymer counter sink it just a little past flush. 1/16 sounds good
