Well my boat is set to be delivered 3/26 only a week behind schedule no complaints. Just curious last decision I have to make is yeah or nay on an intercom system. I can see the plus side as my wife could continue to tell me what to do without me having to stop! Thanks in advance. Look forward to joining you all for several rides this year!

Badbilly, intercoms are awesome ...... look for another thread on here where we dicussed them.

PM or try to get in touch with A1Mudpuppy. He bought a set and brought them to the Shady Oaks ride. I think he was pleased.

Badbilly,

'Turn-left, no, turn-right, no-stop, no-go"!

I enjoy the solitude of the ride, but I guess they would be nice!

Hope to see ya soon, (what kinda sled you gettin')?

What I have found Intercoms are alot better then a fist on the arm or a slap aside the head. Go for the intercom ,Makes the ride more pleasurable.

We ordered an 18 ft from diamondback with the 496 FI. We shopped around and several of the guys would have built an excellent boat. Bobby happened to have a similar boat in stock and were able to demo it. I am going from 500 caddy dd/fiberglass boat to this. The wife figured out how easier it was to operate the stick then to get out and push when I got stuck so figured time to get better boat for dry ground.

Badbilly,

Go with the intercom! Stan's right...I keep forgetting about all the whelps on my head and back :violent1:

Cool, another Diamondback in the marsh :hello1:

Well the pair of wireless headphones are nice because I gave the other one to swampjet as I was testing them out. That's when the bolt broke it the gas pedal and I could tell him I had a problem. You can also hear other wireless head sets if you all are on the same channel. They have 4 setting selector switch for, 3 for sensitivity 1 voice-activated and the last for PPT
It's a Peltor Power-Com Wireless. There ok I think I need to send one in to get a tune up. I purchased them used.
