Cody - Lots of boats have little quirks, just like cars.
Some have a tendency to grab as the go around corners, especially at faster speeds. The corner of the boat will dig in and the boat will suddenly pull into a much tighter turn.
Some will crow hop or skip sideways as they go around corners, if proper control is not gained you can flip her over sideways. So do it more in shallow water and some in deeper water.
Some boats have very responsive steering at one speed and not at another.
Some boats turn great one way and are barges the other way.
A flawless boat would not have any of these that are noticable. And beginnings get cocky and start running faster than the truely are ready to handle. Then BAM you are going fast and something happens that you are not ready to handle - accidents occur.
Most older or cheaper boats will not respond as great or get moving like greased lightning, while newer boats have a better chance. This will keep you running slower while you are learning.
