Yes it's true, there is know possible way to get to Loughmans unless you drive from St Rd 46, or go by 4 wheeler or Swamp Buggy from the river. You will not get there by boat if you are coming from the river. Snake Creek is dry as a bone! Found out first hand today! Black mud everywhere.

Unbeleivable,I and some buddies ran Snake Creek Sunday and there was water all the way,We ran grass by Bird Tower back wasnt to bad.

The water level gauge is at the lowest I've ever seen it. It reads 1.21 feet as of Thurs night.... 9.3 feet a few months ago after Wilma, 4 feet is about average for that gauge. This is the first time I've even seen ZERO at the bottom of that graph!!!!!!

And still falling.

Laura & I are planning on riding out there Tues or Wed, and we plan on making our boat light as possible,....except for a cable hoist come-along to winch us out of getting stuck!

I may take the l'il jonboat kicker out there to do some fishing. The motor won't start, but sounds like it don't matter... I'll just walk around dragging it!!! LOL Done that many times before!

Between the lack of rain, and that Lake Washington Dam - - fishing is more like mercy killing as the last puddles dry up!

I'll bet the indian mounds are getting re-named about now.... Pawpaw mountain?!!!? LOL

I don't think we're bringing our airboat to the Sound Testing. But we'll be there to watch anyway.

matt.
