jett coating?

does anybody know where i can get my exhaust jett coated? theyre used to be a place in orlando called hyperkote, but i guess theyre out of buisness. i want to get them chrome jett coated, regular chrome never lasts. thanks
 
Sorry to hear about hyperkote. I used them a couple of times for headers. They did good work and were nice to deal with.

I heard of him first about 15+ years ago, so he has been in business for a while. My next exhaust system will go to him for coating, maybe get that last extra couple foot pounds out of the ol motor
 
I went by hyperkote and they were closed friday. I called the number and they said the owner passed away recently but there is someone else taking over but they are backed up about 2 weeks in work. I called ken at direct performance coatings in summerfield and brought my intake and headers to him. He said they should be done in less than a week.

does that place in summerfield polish them as well? ive talked to the guy who is buying hyperkote, but the man who originally owned it and died, his son is taking the polisher. from what i understand, thats the expensive part. i hear chipper down in cocoa is doing jett coating, but he doesnt have the polisher.
 
0470, Good question I will call ken and ask him tomorrow. He did say that he has done work for GTO, Diamondback, and Faron.
 
0470, I am not far from you my adress is a mims adress even though I am in volusia.If you want I could drop your headers off when I pick mine up. My brother lives in fawn lake and my son works at do it best hardware in mims. I am out that way quite a bit. pm me and let me know if if I can help.

THey are back open at the same location . I dropped some stuff off and was told around a week . They are even going to give me a 3 year warranty . I had some stuff other done at a place in Brevard a while back and was not impressed at all . I will post some pics as soon as I get them back .
