I don't know what his 7 ft wide boat weighs. His 13ft 8" boat x8 wide weighed just shigh of 400 lbs. (I actually had it weighed). I had mine built a little different then he normaly does but nothing drastic. Boat runs fantastic. I really want to build one with a Thunder 500 hp motor on it. Time will tell.

Do they take a good beating? I`m kinda hard on my boat and stringers tend to break but the price is a hole lot better than a metal boat.If they hold up well I mite have to get one.

These hulls are the best, I had a 13x7.5 built last month and it will hall ass. I told him to build it light so he used less glass, It weights 310 pounds bare hull. I am running a 200 angle valve on it and it will go anywhere. No complaints here I have not road in a better riding hull yet.

no prob with mine. its a 16x8. mine has a 650hp big block and performs well. i did hit a big rock in the river and cracked mine. jimmy fixed it and looks just as it did new. good service from him.
