Just a Reminder May 13th Clean-up

Anyone in East Orange, Seminole or Volusia Counties that has an airboat.Lake Harney Woods boat ramp will be a check in point for the river clean-up on the 13th of May.So if you are close to Lk Harney and want to help out.We will be meeting at 7:30am.Come on out.Seminole County Airboat Club will be meeting there as well with a short ride after and cookout.All invited.

With less than a week left, I thought I would bring this topic back up.We are looking for the airboat community to come this Saturday and help with the clean-up cause.Those in our area(Lk Harney Woods boat ramp)please come out and pick up some trash then take a short ride with the Seminole County Airboat Club and back for some barbeque.

BadBilly - Sorry I missed this one before... The cleanup is a county wide effort sponsored by Volusia County waste mgt. There are cleanup sites ALL ALONG the St. Johns with Lake Harney being the southernmost rally point, all the way up to 9 mile point on the middle eastern shore of Lake George.

If you are in Astor, you'll be heading to the Lake George rally point. Many of us are meeting at the Volusia Bar Marina very near where the river flows into Lake George. Many are planning on being there at dawn, but we'll be a little late. Just now finished putting the motor back on and test running it in the back yard. So much for an early start!

Sorry for being so late with the info, I hope you find this before you take off if there is any info here you need.

Good luck to BOTH airboat teams!!!!
