Kissimmee River Cornwell Area

Just left from Micco Bluff airboat launch area and couldn't see anything but dry ground from the truck. I'm sitting at S-65C Locks Campground as I type and there seems to be quite a bit of water around the boat ramp. The cypress trees in front of the ramp has quite a bit of water standing. There are about eight airboats out here camping as of today. Not sure how the water is back to the north but it looks good from here. Looks as if they're holding some water back in this area.

Rich it might make for a good ride on Saturday. I would have brought my boat with me and checked it out further but I would have had a hard time explaining that at the office this morning. :D

Plumcrazy might be giving an update on Cornwell later on. He was pulling in with his little boat as I was leaving the boat ramp.

FYI..........if there is a puddle at the ramp at Micco Bluff it could be good. Sometimes Micco is dry and the river portion a few hundred yds out will hold water. I usually access from Basinger, or from below the lock on 98...

ooh yeah, if that little boat is any indication on how good it is, I'll be asking my boys up there in bigger boats. That lil ole bathtub with a 150 on it doesn't need much of anything to scoot around. One thing I forgot if they are hunting it's not the safest place in the world to pleasure ride...DON"T forget your ORANGE!!

not so fast jd after i talk to you i went to the west side lot s of water but grown up vegetation sense last time we were there be great hunting though ibelive im going to name the little boat walking catfish because i ran alot of dry today

i ran into 1 hunter 4 or 5 camped at the lock the riverr is is not a pleasure ride not now got a little hairy a few times today but it was still fun
