Any one running a gen V engine? I just got one installed and was wondering what kind of max RPM people are running at?

52-5300 on the trailer, stock.

Is that a Marine power your running or something you built? Guy tuning mine says I'm good to 6200 with my upgrades. My prop speed is good at 6K.

Bone stock out of the truck with tuning. Unless you have made changes to the cam, there is no point spinning it faster. Peak HP on stock is around 5200, spin it faster and your actually making less power and you will need to pull pitch to get there.

Mine, I modify the factory harnesses or build new. It depends on what the customer has. I would rather rework a factory one than use one from China.

Yeah I got the BTR stage 3 and L86 manifold. I’m gonna put a little more pitch in it and spin it at 5500.

I wanted to, but I got talked out of it in favor of an LS3 crate engine.
