I got a call from the aviation director out of Cocoa Beach this morning informing me of a downed Helicopter in the Ocala Nat'l Forest. They needed airboats to assist. I immediately Contacted Jim Brown of the Lake County Airboat Club. Jim called me back a while ago and said that all personnel were safely rescued and that Lake county will be volunteering two airboats to take personnel and equipment to the crash site in the morning. A Black Hawk will be used to lift the down craft and carry it from the wreakage site. Man! what an awesome mission for the guys from Lake County. Way To Go!
