Last week I reported that RoHo had Ran his boat up against an 0540, well I was wrong,The fellers were back with some more help .I took the oppertunity to inspect the sharp lookin gilieo hull and noticed the Hot Rod by Stanley sticker and the Cog belt runin off the front of the crank.Yep what I thought was an 0540 was just a sharp lookin 550 continental with an under slung supercharger At the end of the day saturday Roho managed to hold on after several attemts by a hot runin 550 . The little 4 cyl was back runin real nasty till his juice bottles ran empty and became a docile little boat again. kinda like Jekyl and hyde .
Sat urday night I found Myself out on the Lake Frog huntin with one of my gigin partners and after 5 hours of frog gigin we called it quits cntry and I made it back to the camp around 3:00 am. By 7:30 we were up and runin to the restaurant,famliy markett ,and to the boat ramp by 9:30.WE met up with Hunte ,bevin,Hogsknr,jenifer ,woody and Tucker at the mouth of Juniper .were they had managed to catch 20 or 30 mullet on white plastic worms.
The plan was to fry up frog legs and the mullet at the run cept for one item ,in the mist of gettin ready I had for gotten to load the burner .Along comes river rat and a call to his sons the situation was handled. At the run hunter and I set in to cleanin the frogs while Bevin and Jennifer went to cleanin the mullet .What can I tell Ya'll other than Hunter and Hogsknr Married right .Well the day ended with our bellies full and our body tanned a little more and ready to face another week in the race of rats..
