Went to harney saturday just fixin to launch the boat at the ramp Idid my walk around pre flight and found a broken 5/16 bolt on the deck.yep came from the altenator .auto zone in Titus ville fixed me up with another altenator didn,t want to take the time to drill and easy out the old bolt right then Iwanted to be on the water.Heck I needed a spare any way.I reckon Big kvrs training is still payin off.Once we got on the water we
had a great time spectating ,the action was steady,the sun was hot,the beer was cold and the people were fantastic.We loaded the boats up around 4:00 and headed back to DeLeon cntry and Micheal had an appointment with some Butter frogs to keep.
Sunday was about normal cept for the afternoon rain that we got caught in ,rain drops felt like needles as we headed back to the ramp around 5:30.We lounged around in the cool waters of the run ,fried up a mess of fresh Mullet caught by jennifer and hogskinr ,Georgia deer by hunter,Gator tail by hunter,and fresh frog legs by cntry I guess you could say we were eatin off the land and sea.Only thing that happened whilest I was gone saturday was hunter sinkin his boat at the ramp. word was he blew up on the trailer and shut his motor down while bevin was pullin ahead.boat slide bac.k she stoped and the boat was sunk, just lucky the motor didn't go under.
