lake george

mountain man I will be at camp mack .most all of the lake county airboat club will be on the lake between the jetties and the glen .lots of boats will be up juniper run, the forest service shut the wayside park at 19 down ,don't know when they will open it up ,,because of the gator eatin and only airboats can slide up in there. mouth of the glen will be wild. If you go to the lake watch your p's and q's the fwc and the deputy's will be out in force.

Are mufflers required on lake george i have yet to install on my boat do not need any trouble on the lake, any input would help Thanks

years ago the volusia county sheriffs started a campaign requiring mufflers wrote a few tickets at 55.00 . Last ime I was stoped by a volusia county deputy was 4 years ago. FWC currently are not looking for muffs, after this weekend may be a differant story.I guess I'd put a set on just in case
other wise it would just give them a reason to stop ya with out them.then again they'll probley be to busy with the kicker boats up at the glen to mess with you. Just a reminder when you are on the lake west of the river stay in two feet of water or less while on plane other wise slow speed off plane within a 1/4 mile of shore. east of the river your good to go on plane any where. Go slow across silver glen run and up juniper run . other than that you'll have a great time the water is low around the lake and the runs are crystal clear and cool .A favorite place to stop and lounge around is at the mouth of juniper shallow clear water and sand bottom about a foot deep.My jounry this weekend will take me down south friday night ,saturday and night to campmack and maybe juniper sunday if the wife has her way. otherwise I'd love to be with ya !
