Are there any motels/cabins for rent on Lake Kissimee? (that are airboat friendly)

Thomas landing is very airboat friendly, almost to friendly.. I've got a place In River Ranch and we go by there all the time. Always airboats on the ramp. Call in advance, they sell out fast during the busy weekends.

I would choose Camp Mack over Thomas Landing. The road is paved to Camp Mack. Also they have all the necessities at hand if you forget something. They have a new hotel, a riverhouse, park models, a LOUNGE and such.

The road to Thomas Landing is pure sugar sand. It was difficult enough to get back there without a boat tow. I couldn't imagine if we had our airboat in tow. The best thing about that place is the location on the lake. It is a prime location right on the lake. But it's not as efficient as Camp Mack.

We checked the two places out this past weekend.

All cabins in surrounding area of LK Kiss are booked for Memorial Day weekend.There may be camp sites available.

I stayed at the River Ranch Resort last weekend ,you can launch there or grape hammok rooms are nice ,bar and restaurants on site .

There is also the option of "primitive camping' out on the islands/Gardners Marsh. Had a blast when we've done this.

River Ranch does have a pool but keep in mind....

You gotta either take the boat through the locks,YEE-HAH! Or trailer around them to launch into the lake.

The closest boat ramp to river ranch is in river ranch. What is the problem with the locks ?? I used to go through them several times a day at okeechobee sometimes with two or three of us in there at once. It is a little confining but I never had a problem at all.

As long as you get back through the locks by 6pm your ok other wise you can launch at grape hammock which is almost directly across from river ranch and a 5 min drive .
