Lake Kissimmee it is!

Thomas landing is not a bad place to meet, plus they have fuel their if anyones needs any, also polluted waters is just south of their, and their is plenty of area for every one to meet and hang out, and i mean everyone. Then their is also the milk bus with plenty of shade. I do not suggest everyone meeting at the ridge, if you get to many boats their, it can become a pain in the a**. I am voting for polluted waters. :D

Ok Thomas landing it is now what time??? Thomas landing is a good nuetral spot can go either way from there. I am not familiar with polluted waters but as long as I dont have to drink any its ok with me.

Polluted waters is just South of Thomas landing. Their is plenty of shade trees and plenty of area to park and hang out. It does not matter one way or the other to me. I was just thinking of the fact that Thomas landing does not have a hugh area to park, and i know from experience when i stayed their, when you get a lot of boats their, all the cabins end up gettong blown real bad.

I think eveyone should get around 10 am, this gives everyone time to get up, get their stuff together, and get there.

Richard,

Can you or somebody else please post some GPS coordinates for those of us that are coming from out of town? I know where Thomas Landing is but not "polluted waters".

The wife, son and I should get there later Friday night and be able to make it for 10 with good directions.

Too bad we don't have a big "Southern Airboat" flag or sign for all to see!

Jeff

thanks for all of your help Rick I had a great trip and it sounds like another great one the 1st monthly ride!!! yeehaw !!!

Sounds great, are we all just going to meet at thomas landing . I'm just going to drive over that sat morning.

Can you drive in and launch at polluted waters or is best to launch at thomas landing. Remember it is memorial day weekend so thomas landing is gonna be jumpin. The lady at thomas landin doesnt mind if you launch dry so that helps with the parkin if your boat is up for it.

Welcome back croc1.

cntry141iq & richard, I was wondering the same thing about Polluted Waters. I just mentioned Thomas Landing to have a place to launch airboats.

cchardt, it's looking like that may be the case right now.

I am not sure on the mufflers but I believe u at least need flex pipe anywhere in the state. BUT I AINT SAYIN THAT FOR SURE OK SO NO NASTY GRAMS BACK TO ME LOL. the lake is low the ground is sticky thats my story and I am stickin to it and hopefully not stickin to the bank LOL ok the good ramps I know of are at camp mack, the sr 60 bridge the old shady oak campground You can call thoma landing they have a web site and ms. betty is very honest about conditions there.

Polluted water has no place to launch from, the closes plce to launch is Thomas Landing, or River Ranch boat ramp on the norht side about a mile south of Thomas Landing.

Croc1, Richard, cntry141liq, cchardt,

Is everybody gonna meet at Thomas landing at 10 A.M. Saturday morning?

Really look forward to the ride because work has made my "give a d..." busted"!

Thanks,

Jeff

Don't bet on the River Ranch boat landing. They have put up new locks and gates to keep people out that are not members. How long it will last I have now clue. Polluted water is easy to find, just ride the lake edge south on the west side and you will pass a very large spoil Island like 25 feet in the air. Just south of that and as the lake starts to bend to the east your their. I have some GPS numbers I can pull off the hand held today but they are way back in the woods where we found out from the law it was the wrong place to be

yes thats my plan Thomas Landing 10:00 AM saturday I will be the guy in southern airboat shirt  14' diamondback 350 with 3 blade powershift and hunter green riggin.

Croc1,

Sorry to hear about your boat cntry141iq. It's a bummer to be broke down at any time, but not running on Memorial Day Weekend is a little worse than normal.
