Lake KIssimmee Poker Run map - where's Moodfood

Daddy Dave

Well-known member
Moodfood,

What're the chances of getting one of your super maps with the Poker Run stops located on it? I think it would be a great help to many....

This run will not require dry ground running. All stops are along the edge of the lake.

Wooo Hooo! I'm Right here! :)

Hey BigD - I've already got one made, been on the phone with DB and Brad, but have not heard much from them after asking for help. I understand they are busy folks and all. So am I.

What I'm missing is the GPS numbers for poluted waters & 27 Palms. I've got close numbers for Poluted waters, and may be able to get by with that, but I've no clue where 27 palms is. That's it! Two tiny details is the only thing holding this up.

I was asking about this several weeks ago HERE and HERE.

Time is running out for me to get some of these done! D.B. wanted some too.

I need some time to get them printed, so I'm gonna call this the deadline, if nothing happens on this within the next 24 hours, it ain't gonna happen.

The map I have is a huge improvement over the one that sold at the clean-up auction. Y'all are gonna love it! :D

Let me know those GPS #'s A.S.A.P.!!!!!!

thanks.

matt.

Thanks Double B. I'll PM you with my direct contact info as soon as I post this message.

The map is one of the best ones I've ever made! I'm so excited about getting it out there. Thanks for the chance to take part.

But time is getting tight. We are down to the wire on getting them printed & laminated.... And I would really feel better showing an advance copy 'proof' to Danny Brantley, Brad, or Capt Dave. If any of you are interested in proofing (and correcting possible errors) PLEASE CONTACT ME ASAP. (Brantley & Brad have my nextel# which is also listed in the AHA directory here on S/A.com under East Central Florida)

If any changes need to be made, it takes precious time. If it cannot be proof-read, I really think it looks great, and I'll just go with what I have.

I'll be supplying 4 or 5 of these maps, laminated only to be sold to benefit the cause. I think I recall Danny mentioning that he'd like to get at least one of them framed. (more precious time)

Thanks for helping me get the final pieces of this together BadBilly. You rock! :D

Thanks Cntry - But that sample map I sent you was reduced slightly to make it fit the 24 inch width of your printer.

Trust me... I like the fact that you can print large format stuff like this. And my future maps will be keeping that dimension in mind! But this one is 28.5 x 30.5.

I'm still looking for a place that I can get the quality I demand, at a good price. I've tried a couple places in town here, the quality of the print was just not up to snuff.

My best result so far has been ordering them off the internet from a place in Seattle. And having them shipped cross country. Hence my time crunch.

This will get done. I'm VERY confident of that.

thanks for the offer. :)

Mood,

I'll direct connect you later this morning with the gps numbers for polluted waters. Sorry I can't help with 27 palms.

You Betcha! Wouldn't miss it. With the water so low, that is BY FAR the best riding around! Although, I don't know how much of the actual poker run we'll be taking part of... If at all. Money is so tight right now, the dog is going to have to skip a meal or two (and me too) just to pay for gas. Not sure I can afford a hand!

We are most definitely looking forward to just idling around the skinny shores picking up a lot of trash that is exposed because of the low water.

I got a call from a guy named Darryl of the Volusia Waste Management Dept this morning, and he says there is a bit of competetion between the Lake County Club on Lake George and the Seminole County Club on Puzzle Lake and Lake Harney over who will gather the most trash. I like BOTH clubs!!!! But we're going to put our efforts in with Lake George Crew. :D

We may head out to Lake Harney THIS WEEK and pick up some trash... LOL ;) ;) Don't tell Skeeter!!!!

I'm looking forward to meeting both you BADBILLY & Darryl.

After the cleanup lunch BBQ at Ninemile Point, I think a bunch are heading up the Juniper Springs Run to stand in the crystal clear water and cool off.

We're planning on an early start at the Volusia Bar ramp... Daybreak or shortly thereafter.

SEE YOU THERE!!!!

matt.

Good job mood :D You got all that accomplished and didn't get up as early as Basket  Have you noticed the times on his post's. That man is a machine. 8)

Mood we are going to be there. Will be in a yellow diamondback boat please say hi if you see us. Look forward to meeting you.
