Lake Seminole

This morning was one with blue skies and great weather. This said. I could not stand staying on the ground so after I finished my morning chores. I preflighted Windgator one and took off for Lake Seminole. Having never been there before I was interested in seeing what lake looked like from 500' I was pleasantly suprised to see beautiful woods and a big lake with plenty of airboat trails all the trails appeared to have plenty of water. I flew from the dam over Wingates almost to Bainbrige then returned along the west side across I guess was Big Jims, not sure. Lake Seminole appears tobe a boater and fisherman's dream. I just hope the weather will continue tobe good.

Great report, Gerry. I think anyone that misses that ride on the 25th weekend is gonna miss a great one. Thanks !

Figured I give you the report on the south GA, Bainbridge ride. Man was it great. We met some top notch people this weekend. Had one of the best times airboating I can remember. Definitely recommend bringing the family. Good environment!!!
These guys in GA took us on a wild ride. Henry was leading and Paul Dixon was keeping watch in the back for any stragglers. We rode over 70 miles on Sunday and I think sat was about the same.
Carol Dixon had stated in a previous post to watch out for the stumps, I didn't see the 1st one hehe
We went on trails I never knew an airboat could go on (or fit thru) and when we pulled up to BS hill someone said there was 40 boats. I met so many people, I cant remember there 1st name or there handle (screen name)
We didn't run much hill but the hill we did touch sure was sticky. We must asked if olf art was there a 100 times. I thought we spotted him flying by in a bass boat in SPEEDOS(figured he had changed boats for the weekend) Sorry we missed ya olfart

We got home @ 2 am this morning.
For some reason it took us 6.5 hours to get there and only 5 hours to get home. Do you think its cuz we were running down hill on the way home.

I forgot to mention the tractor trailer wreck on I-75 on the way up there !

If you missed it YOU REALLY MISSED IT
