Curdog,
I was there Saturday for a few minutes. The lake is my back yard, (15 miles from the house). It is small, usta have a lot of trophy bass in it. Six months ago you couldn't see the shoreline anywhere around the lake cause of the vegetation. How do ya spell "hiacin"???
The vegetation has been removed and Sat. they were dredging the "muck" from the bottom of the lake which should take awhile. It is one of the only public ramps here in Collier county, (if not the only one) that does not have the $5.00 ramp fee that I know of.
I took a few pics on Saturday and if I can figure out how to download from pda to computer without crashing I'll post them I my gallery soon.

There didn't seem to be any trails in the marsh surounding the lake. Maybe I am blind. I knew that lake was real bad as far a vegatation and muck and looks preety good now, but I thought they had already finished that project. I am here in Lee county so its not too far of a drive. I would like to go back and bring the kids fishin.

No trails that I know of just big wide-open lake.
Aint' fished there in quite awhile but maybe soon.

I herd you say you are in Lee County. So am I..
I live in Lehigh Acres, is there any air boating you do around here or where do you mostly run. I am new to ventureing out I have mostly run over in Lake Placid, but I keep my boat over here now. so I have a desire to explore a little.
