The Lake Washington Dam repair is working well the lake level is coming up and water is coming into our canals again. (securing our drinking water) I let my wife drive from Lake Washington up the StJohns, thru Lake Winder, Lake Florence and Lake Pointset I forgot how many new Million dollar homes were built on the lake Pointset, now I know why that lake has a curfew. Anyway I had a blast ridding instead of driving this way I can concentrate all my efforts on alcohol consumption.

Is there a ramp off of Lake Florence? It looks like there is a dirt road that runs next to 95 when you look at a arial view of the area. Im looking for a closer ramp to the river and the south end of Poinsette to put in at night for gator hunting.

You can launch on Lake Florance and when there is water there are a few trails that run to the river. When the water is low you will have to take a trail to Pointset to get to the river.
 
I imagine as low as the water is you will have to run the trail to poinsett and then hit the river. I have found very little water in the marsh. The trail should be on the NW end of florence and just winds around to the lake. Once in the lake it is not very far to middle river.
 
Was there this Sunday testing the boat water is still low. You will have to run the old canal or trail from Florence to Pointset. Turn by the MacDonald's to get to Florence. Follow the brush on the north side of lake and remember to look back at the exit from Pointset lake. I know people who couldn't find the entrance back into Florence.
Water is just starting to rise in the slew by the oak head.
Ps who left all the trash at the Indian mount that is BS pick it and take it with you.
