Whats the word on those laser hulls from Gilileo? I have an oppertunity to get one in great shape. are they pretty durable? do they turn good in deep water? Thanks guys. :?:
NorthWest, I run an old 14' Gilleo. They're light for their size but the're too light in the bottom, in my opinion, if you want to run dry much.
The Lazers I've seen look to be a little heavier, and the sides are lower than mine so they're probably not well suited to deep water, but from everything I've heard they run out real nice.
I didn't know that Gilileo built the laser hull. I have a Laser and a Gilileo and they are as different as can be. The problem I had with both the Gilileo boats I've owned is the sides are too short for deep water running. Other than that they were good hulls. I really like the Laser much better. Nice lines and because it's wider I have more freeboard and feel better in the deep water.
I have a Bandit laser, I looked at a laser hull at airboat pro's,I'm not sure who made it but it was alot heavier then mine, I can turn mine over alone.
