Did you lift a head? Pushing compression into the coolant? I had a supercharged 5.8 Shelby engine with 20 psi of boost keep lifting the heads with the stock Ford torque to yield bolts. The engine builder refused to acknowledge that it needed ARP studs. It would idle fine but when you took it upstairs it would blow coolant all over the windshield. FR500S road course Mustang. ARP and a fresh surface on the heads, it never did it again. Took twice dropping the K-member though. I would suggest getting it to temp and performing a leak down test.
