Looking For New Hull

Looking for some help from you guys. I am kicking around buying either a hamant, diamondback or even www hull. I am looking at a 13'6" x 7'6" and am wondering if anyone has one with an angle valve on it. Looking for an all around boat but wants something that runs the hill good to. Any help would be appreciated.

I just got a brand new 2005 14x7.5 hamant hull that thing rides like a caddilac and turns awsome (DOES NOT SLIDE ) in turns dose not need a trim tab. thats the first aluminum hull that I have had. It's almost like the fiber glass hull I just got rid of

I agree with ya cc thats a dam good lookin hull I was admiring it last weekend !!! I was talkin to thunder an hour ago about puttin one of his engines on a hull just like yours I was thinking that would be a darn nice package

I have run several small block Chevy’s on about every hull out there and only two of them were any good. The Hammant hull is awesome with a SBC I had a few customers put my motors on them from 350HP V/6’S to 600HP V/8’S and they were all very pleased. Fast safe and turned great no ridding on the bow or no porposeing. If you want a hull that runs dead on out of the box without spending months jacking and moving around weight to get to run right the Hammant hull is the only way to go. Trust me I have ran at least 5 different hulls that the builder said was the greatest and all I got was a slug that ran on the nose. I personally have a one off Diamondback deckover but some people don’t like the sprint car slide personally I love it you get to steer with your foot. So if you want a good turning slalom car turning boat that runs perfect go with a Hammant. If you like sliding around like a sprint car and love feeling like a air hockey puck then go with the Diamond back deckover. They are the only two Hulls that run right with 450HP plus car motors. The Hammant also runs like a beast with a 4cyl or 6cyl aircraft.

thanks for the info. CC what are you running in yours power wise. I couldn't tell from your website but looks like a V8. I am wanting to put my Anglevalve 0540 in it.

I personally know 3 people with O540's on Hammant hulls and they all love their boat. I know a few with 180's also and their just as happy.

No problem at all cracker. I had to click it again myself to remember what it feels like to be running.

That was east of Puzzle Lake on the St. Johns after the storms last year. Seems like the higher the water gets, the more hill I run.

BTW: I am another happy Hamant owner.

I'm running a 350 with a rotator and a 6 blade turbo warp drive that thing rides awsome. I have a buddy with a 12 ft hamant with a 220 on it and he loves his,he took mine out and now he wants to build a car motor boat thing handles great glad I went with them first. now it's time to try another prop.
