LOST AIRBOATERS.....

their was only one and he was found. we all left this morning. we plan on staying in our own neck of the woods from now on. not the glades.
what was on the news about us?

this one is on me after pulling in the boat and fixing the axil bearing on my bros boat we got a late start , least i got every one back to the boat ramp except mikey but i felt like it was important to make sure the girls got back i felt sure mike would be fine hes a good woodsman first time in the glades will get the best of em if you let the sun go down on ya an start finding dead end trails havent seen the news cast yet. guess we well laugh about this one day any way alls well that ends well just lookat it this way one more night in the glades its all good

Lost a buddy of mine in the George Wash national forest once. Found him 2 days later. He sure was happy to see us and boy was he hungry and thirsty. To this day, he states he was not lost. He walked 25 miles through the woods before he hit a road. That is something he will remember for life.

Buy the Guy a $100.00 dollar GPS from wally mart and that won't ever happen again. Just as good as a 500 or 800 dollars system for getting back home.

I saw some girls on a red and white c/m boat at the tower at dark that seemed to be turned around and a groundpower boat wasnt far behind them looking for them , last I saw they were heading east toward the I75 ramp.

we were in 3a leaving the cypress and my bro made a pit stop when we notice him not with us we stop ed mikey doubled back to check on him an some how missed him found my bro but no mikey he was way out of pocket got stuck seems he was following a deck mount compass that was off north not calabrated or something up he was on a heading of north west instead of back east meanwhile back at he boatramp we where gonna try and get one boat filled up an head out to try an gwt him when my wife got a call from my daughter that she was going to the hostpital thinking she was in labor so there i was stuck with a bit of a decision well long story short me an the wife haul ass back to avonpark to find out it was one of them false alarms, this is the first time ive ever left a bater behind and im pretty well ashamed of my self although i knew swampi and empty pockets could find him i still felt bad about the whole thing

yep those were the 2 boats we saw at the tower and gave a direction to the green boat , glad all were ok

hell we should have stayed with you grant, i knew wnere i was but my bro an his buds where newbies i did manage to show em the high points of 3a trip to remember fore them for sure , i was gonna get my continital after i checked on my girls in the hospital an go back but the last time i talked to mike on the nextel he told me a helo had a fix on him pretty much knew it was out of my hands

When I saw y'all headed down that trail I thought you knew where you were headed.I made sure I stayed close behind grant. He seems to know that area like the back of his hand.Glad to hear everyone was ok.

yea i knew where i was all day we went that way to show em burgerons camp its a must see for anybody that gos to 3a i figured yall was going to grants camp it was suppose to be a 3 hour tour , well a bad day on my boat is beeter than a good day at work

hey guys sorry me and mudpuppy didn't ride with yall the yesterday we ended going to sawgrass .still a nice ride.i can vouch for the turn around if the trail hasn't been beeten down.me and mudpuppy did a night ride after the marquis run at the aaof camp ground,i was in the lead trail looked good than the grass started getting higher and higher .and not listening to the voice in my head i did not turn around next thing stuck in a skinny ace trail.i told mudpuppy to turn around and i thought i was camping.but it looked clear about fifty feet ahead so i ran through to the end and i was lucky it was a canal so i turned around and went back.them mosquito's were nasty i wasn't looking forward to staying there.
