I just got a electrical
Tach from alumitech..
Hooked it up ,added the resistor inline that I read about and it did work at all before that ..
But it did work it was just off in the rpms..
Anyone have this issue on the tach seals for ls engine?..
Your setup is probably sending a 2 pulse signal and that tach set on 8 cyl is looking for a 4 pulse signal. Try switching the tach to 4 cyl and see if that cures it..
I did that earlier and it seemed to be working spot on .. I tried it two days ago without the resistor and it did nothing.. So resistor and 4 cylinder setting is the cure .. Thanks bud
