LS1 help............ Waterthunder?

Where is the best cheapest place for me to get a set of stainless headers for an LS1? I am planning on using the Edelbrock Performer intake with the MSD ignition and am not sure which carb to use to go with it? The motor is a stock LS1 that I am going to convert to a small 10' deckover and run it direct drive. Not sure how this is going to turn out but I'm going to give it a shot! One last question is how do I find the serpentine belt for it since the a/c compressor is no longer there? The alternator is still mounted down low in it's original place. I notice Waterthunder moves his to the top of the motor. What is the purpose of that?

Thanks for any help!

Both Waterthunder and Panther carry all the necessary parts to get your LS1 running properly. I have the computer calibration for the LS1 MEFI-4 injection. Dave may have it but I am not sure you would have to ask him for that. As far as the boat you are putting it on, we built a 12' deck over for Big Cypress with a rotator and a 74" 8 blade warp drive. It had custom camo paint and all the police necessities. It was VERY fast for a production boat. It ran superb in deep water as well as rough water. I believe you will have a great boat but an even better one if you put a gear drive behind it!

Have you started the motor yet I have had about a 50% problem with the MSD boxes on these motors! They have had a problem reading the 24X and 58X tooth reluctor wheel! Your cam sensor is in the rear of the block right! I have headers in stock in plain stainless and ceramic coated in black or bright finish!

I haven't started the motor yet. I just got finished taking all of the fuel injection stuff off of it. I haven't bought any of the intake or MSD stuff yet. If you think there's a better way to go Im all ears. I'm not sure about the camshaft sensor without looking at it again. Let me know what u have and I'd be happy to buy this stuff from you.
