A friend has a boat with a LT1/LT4 style engine with the shaft driven water pump and reverse water flow but, it has a carb and a distributor on the top like a regular sbc. Any comments about this engine?
all i know is they run good in cars and with a cam shaft driven water pump that is a good thing if you lose the alt belt you can still run with out over heating till the battery goes dead. should preform well.
