LT4/LS/Godzilla

Yes I’m looking to purchase a brandnew built engine for my 14x7.5 Robicheaux hull. I’m wanting an EXTREMELY DURABLE ENGINE! With lots of torq and HP! Should I got with a built LS?LT4? I’m looking for 700/800hp! This is a pleasure boat! Need reviews on Borowski,Proformance unlimited and water thunder?

Proformance Unlimited LS441 aluminum block
736hp

Buddy of mine just put one on a new Marty Bray 15x7.5 hull. It is a beast. Builder that rigged his boat said it was the nicest and most complete crate engine he’s had come in his shop and he’s had all of them come through at one time or another

I have a brand new built water thunder 430 620hp, 2.68 gear box, 80" prop (3 blade), that I have not yet installed on a hull. I have exhaust, radiator, headers, burp tank, etc. Never been run other than tuned by Dave that I would sell. 863-381-6165

Nice

Back in 2020, I built a hull and rigging around an LT-4 supercharged crate engine, full harness and all the works, all I can say is that it is beyond impressive.
Now, be sure the cooler for the supercharger is on a separate circuit than the cooling system, it will derate at the wrong time and wreak havoc.

Wow that was a bad day

It may have ended that way, but I imagine the day started real good!
He had quite a few hours on it before this, working bugs out, that was one of the issues, well, that day, he and a few club members were out riding, my friend and his son were on the boat in the pictures bottom, built it in '88, long story short, he was running 114 mph at 1/2 throttle, it went into derate, lost thrust, over it went, when I rebuilt it I pointed at the left pedal, said get used to the brake for situations like this, finally found a tuner that figured out the derate issue, supercharger cooling system HAS to be stand alone.
