lycoming 0320 fuel pump

I bought an 0320 and am currently running electric fuel pump only ( no manual pump on engine ). It seems to run fine as is, any reasons to replace the manual pump I should know about??
 
Does it have one on it now? I always liked having a working manual pump on my 0320. Still had electric but didn't have to use it. With a manual you don't have to worry about the battery to keep it pumping.
