Lycoming break-in advise

I have had different break in advise and was hoping for some more to back up what I already have...

What I have is a straight vlv. 0-320 (same as a1a) new pistons, rings
and rebuilt cylinders(airworthy).

Please point me in the right direction here...

Thanks

Thanks but this engine hasn't been run in on a test stand.
I'm of the thought that what applies for an engine in an airframe is going to be different than on an airboat. I can't do a certain rate of climb @ a % of throttle.

I appreciate the link though.

Email captjeff, he just broke in a 0540 from daves airparts.

Its the same basically, you just got to expand the rings to wear the cly walls. Take it on a nice cruise and every so often load it up for a short time.
Watcht the temp, when it comes up back off.
