Maine supports the Troops

Well-known member
Talked to my son last night. He said when they landed in Maine, which was their last stop state side before heading over seas. There was about 40 or 50 soldiers altogether. And as they got off the plane and walked through the airport everyone stood and gave them an applause and tried to shake their hands and thanked them.I'm sure that really went a long way for those men and women.Way to go Maine. :D

thats what i'm talken about. that sounds just like the bud commercial, people really don't know how far that really goes in the eyes of a soldier.

i'm in the usaf and when we came home last month from afghanistan and iraq we had to go through customs in bangor maine. i guess all the vets from the vfw come to the airport wheneer troops come through to welcome them home. cool experience.

I think most americans support the troops......to bad you don't get that impression from the nightly news!

Skeeter,
KR23,

An old member called Big Feather had posted it here on S.A. After searching here couldn't find it...
Searched AOL commercials, couldn't find it...
Searched Budweiser commercialc, couldn't find it....
I found it but you gotta wait through the HD tv clip before viewing the video.

Seems that everybody has archived it!

Jeff ...... thank you. Maybe one of the moderators wouldn't mind throwing this one back in my stuff ? I loved it. It was a much different welcome than we got after VN but there are no hard feelings there.
These kids need and deserve all of our prayers and thanks.

The enemy in this war doesn't wear a uniform. They look like anyone else on the street. How we are as successful as we are over there is a tribute to their training and their individual intelligence. I'm proud of every one of them.
