Dakota, I 'm supposed to bring the steaks? Dang...you shoulda told me! Just kidding. I also had hoped for a Saturday dinner as we will be in the company of greatness Friday night at the Chardt ranch.

Yes cntry we have a dry box, it is a wonderful little rubbermaid thingy with a lid that I have to duck tape down. But it holds the goods. Still jealous?

I deleted the post Fatboy. I found out too late to really do much about it. The guy who owns them is retiring from many years running an auto body shop. It's been stressful selling the land and closing the shop where his heart & soul has been for so long. I asked him about it, and he said just let them knock them over.

Now if you or anyone wants to chase it further, I'll get the name of the new owner of the property (a developer building a hi-rise condo) and you can get in touch with them.

Drop me a PM and we'll see. I'll be going up there sunday to strip out some really cool air valves (for my train horn) that I saw there earlier in the week. Probably help them haul out some of the boxes of old files and office papers too.

I'll be at Loughman's Saturday till late having fun and riding with the gang. Maybe see you there! I just got back from some Friday night partying there... I thought I heard word that You were coming. I hope to see you Fatboy & Wade.

I will beep CC Sunday morning. Me and some budies are either running to Lone Cabage from 192 or will meet up with CC at lake Harney. I was I could have rode today at lake Harney but my little one had a bad fever so I had to leave right after I ran my boat in the sound testing.

What a fantastic day! Food was great (as usual), and despite a few overheating problems, had a blast! Pictures are up in my gallery if anyone wants to take a peek.

Skeeter, thanks for leading us all on that great ride! Scenery was amazing and the folks were the epitomy of "Southern Hospitality".

Randy, thanks for the adventure! You are a real trooper.

Thanks Dan and Steve of Seminole County Airboat crew! Getting that starter out there was a stroke of true luck! And saved the day!

Bandit and Bonnie, glad you made it to the Pavillion after taking the "scenic route". Nice boat, y'all! See ya at the next ride!

Bravo, thanks for the beautiful exploring expedition up the Econ! Tell your daughter Happy Birthday from all of us here at SA.

Thanks Stan for the delectable frog legs and gator wings. Loved them!

Thanks to everyone for the Southern Hospitality and fortitude!

Thanks everyone for another good time as usual, the good times are the ones we wil remeber when any minor things have faded. I got food poisoning on my way to the run friday night and it still is taking a toll on me tonight. Thanks for all the concerns and questions about my health Laura, I think I even had stan worried a little. But like I said even if it woulda been a heart attack I couldn't pick a better place to have one it was absolutely beautiful out there and I was surrounded by friends and doing what I love best, ridin the wind, it don't get any better than that.

Bandit you are comin along really fast on your baoting skills and Stan and I are tryin our best to teach you all the bad habits it has taken us years to develop. Now if we can just get BOnnie to eat frog legs tehnwe are getting somewhere. I was sorta outta the loop at the pavillion layin over under the shade tree so she got lucky this time LOL.

The comradere was second to none and really bandit you acted like you knew where you were headed so we didn't worry about you and then you go and get lost, next we are all aprked on the hill lookinat you you might want to stop instead of just wavin as you go by LOL.

Mood never let the lack of a boat keep ya'll away you know better than that man once your in the family you are stuck in it.

Airboat4fun I was glad to see you and that is one bad little grill setup you got there thos ewere some super pancakes even If they didn't stay with me for long they tasted good goin down and comin up LOL, oh well.

Skeeter you turned out a beautiful ride under very demanding circumstances due to the low water situation.

To everyone else who was there ya'll know I enjoyed your company and I apologize for my being under the weather but your company was thouroghly enjoyed and noted.

Thanks for another wonderful memory I never even took the first picture but they are etched in my mind forever. it was great

What a great ride ! Skeeter did a fine job of planing the ride and cordinating repairs and those seminole county airboaters what can I say theve got the right stuff. It was the first time in my life that I had ever journied up the econ , what an excursion and I now know why they call a portion of the river puzzle lake. its like running a maze. and running lake jesup to Black hamock sunday was un believeable it was as slick as glass not even a ripple .
Often cntry refers to florida as his backyard well theres a lot of it out there and for now for me the airboat is still the best way to explore it. Forever etched in memory are places like cooter cove, geneva beach, the sand bar, mullet lake park ,black hammock and the econ pravillion .
2 days of airboating ,45 gallons of high test,5 hours on the meter,120 miles on the pickup , one fuel pump repair ( had to show basket how a high speed deep water shut down was properly done ) and no kayake's .
