Mayor Nagin's Invite to The Rebirth Ceremony

Mayor Nagin of New Orleans forgot about the airboat sportsmen volunteers when his office issued the initial invite to this celebration. We had to remind him about the airboaters who went because they (Nagin's office) thought that Louisiana Fish & Wildlife provided all the vessels and were not aware of the airboating public response to their plea for help.

This is why we need advocates to keep the public & others informed of our service to our fellow man. If we don't inform folks of our deeds, no one else will.
Thanks again to all who went and risked life & limb to partisipated in this great effort.

You don't mean that the good mayor might have forgotten a bunch of Caucasion, Redneck, Conservative volunteer airboaters, do you ?

Surely that was an oversight.

I wonder if he invited the assigned drivers of those 250 school busses that we saw photos of sitting, flooded, in that field ?
