measurements

I am in the middle of putting a boat together. I am running 14 ft. fiberglass hull, with a 4-seater, direct drive automotive. which motor i'm not sure of yet. i have 350 with alittle work done to it but i think i'd rather run a caddie or something else b.b. but i need a measurement i guess from the back of the boat to certain point on the engine stand or something. any hints would be helpful!!

I wouldn't start anything till you have decided what power plant your gonna use.

Thats a big boat should use a caddy motor or a 455 olds.

well i just built a boat and we always start with the motor stand and work the rig off that so it all falls in place , if u want to build the rig seperate from the motor stand thats fine also but what u really need to do is start with the engine stand and prop dont try to guess thats where your first mistake will happen pm me ill send u some pics of the action

Yeah i think i'm gonna run a caddy, working with some guys now to aquire 1. can't afford the reduction right now and i'm ready to ride!!
