I have posted some pics in the monthly run section, I think, of melissa's new boat. If someone wants to move them here or post links to them, put them in a special section for pics what ever it ok.

She was truly happy and I am sure she is glad to be back in the wind. I can't imagine what it must be like for her and won't try to say I can. I just klnow I saw happiness that day on her face and that was what makes everything involved in a fundraiser worth it. I spoke to he rparents when they noticed me taking pictures and I am sending them a cd of all of them I took.

A very special thanks to KRVSA for making it all possible for her. For any of you who have never attended one of their functions you have missed a fine bunch of folks who are passionate about their causes and who will do what is needed when it is needed for their club. CONGRATULATIONS on a job well done.

Cntry,

The KVRSA is truly an organization that rocks! Gotta say that this is an awesome young lady that truly deserved this boat! There was not a dry eye in the bunch when the tarp came off the boat, no one,(including Melissa) had never seen the boat before Saturday.

Good job and high fives to everyone involved :salute:

Ditto, I wish we ( the wife and I ) could have done more, but I am glad other folks picked up the slack and it all came together. Congrats to all those that really gave alot in time and $$$$$, give yourselfs a pat on the back , ya'll really deserve it. Great job, very well done. The memory of that will go to the grave with alot of folks, it'll be a memory that last for a life time. I can't say enough about all ya'll. Just Great, Cajun

I know from another point of view about her condition. My dad was paralized for 18 years before he passed away. He didn't let it slow him down but he sure had some obsticles to over come. He once chased one of my buddies down the street with a 2 x 4 , he layed it across the arms of his wheel chair gave the wheels a good pump and picked up the 2x4 in case he got close enough. He never did lose his grit.LOL . All I can say for Melissa is , GETTER DONE, Later Cajun
