Miccosukee res, water or not

:rebel: I have seen a picture of the double landing before McCormicks after all this rain ,it showed water at the landing and out in the slew. if anyone goes down there would be very interested in how far or how much water there is around. :rebel:

Hey Scotty I can let you know on Monday. Had a bud put in at 40 mile bend this am and he said there was plenty but I know your more interested in the Indian side but my keen folk is headed there tomorrow morning so I can let you know on Monday when I see him at work. I don't own a boat so I had to sit this weekend out but if all goes well he'll be going from the Boars head to the Hilton so should have a pretty good gauge on water when I see him on Monday sorry I couldn't be more help at the moment

:rebel: I am starting to have this bad feeling that this has happened before. like last year from dry to flooded and no airboating, this rain needs to stop but don't see much sign of that happening any time soon. :rebel: :dontknow:

:rebel: Just got a report one of my sons friend went from 41 all the way to the dog leg canal with no dry spots and a reservation member went from the landings in the Res, all the way to his camp on the dog leg canal with only one little patch of dry. So it sounds like we better go before its to late. :bounce: :rebel:

Well I haven't gotten the full report I was only at the shop for a few this am but boss said there wasn't water on the Indian side and the crew from the state side said they could make all but a mile or so from camp on the Indian side

:rebel: LADYBLACKWATER have they started pumping the water out yet, planning on going to camp in the Res, for a week or so on the 31 right now I believe there is water enough but not to much. But who knows what it will be like in 9 days :rebel: GOTTA GO FOR IT

:rebel: Thank you for the information LBW, I will have to keep a close watch on the gauges and if any one hears any bad news please post it THANKS IN ADVANCE :rebel:

:rebel: Its getting rain now with more coming and they are predicting this storm will drop 4 or more inches, so it looks like we will be heading down Thursday and give it a shot . :rebel: unless I hear other wise

I bet we got 3 to 4 inches in Coral Springs and the radar showed the heaviest rain out west of us. I don't see any way they won't be closing 3A and the Indian lands next week. For the last 3 or 4 weeks they've been dumping water into 2A. From there it goes out through the Hillsboro canal, the C14 or into 3A. Last week Hillsboro was barely open, the C14 was flowing but mostly draining Coral Springs and Tamarac. That means the bulk of the water going south.

I sure hope U are wrong on this one Digging , been itching for some glades time

:rebel: According to the water stats still have 18 inches to go before FWC will act ,but not gonna take the chance be their Thursday for 10 to12 days hope the gate lock has not been changed when I get there. :rebel:

I rode to camp in Indian land from the ally and had water all the way. Our camp is just north of the pipe line near marker 5. There was enough water but it was tight getting into the camp. We rode across country on the way back and found quite a bit of dry ground. We came in on the west trail east toward Bergerons. I don't think we got that much rain this weekend as we did last week. I know the state got a lot of rain and as we all know 2 and 3 will get most of it. Ride while you can!

Ok Scotty Me Dad & Joe went to camp Sat morning stayed till Mon loading holes are a bit tough the gauntlet had water but was skinny after that water was good to our camp and yours. most of the rain we got wasn't much hard rain light rain and sprinkle's when we left Monday the water had gotten a little better in the gauntlet The water is going to have to come up quite a bit before they close the res. the levee is a mess

:rebel: DEUCE he saying that the levee road is a mess ,which I am sure it is all sloppy and rough as far as the landings go there probably is not a hole lot of water and the last time I was there the grass was taking over. Just gotta back up an slam on the brakes to slide it off then load and go. :rebel: and as far as the pumping the water in I have not seen any sign of that the gauges I am watching is strictly from the rain they may be pumping into 2a or 3b but I don't see any sign of it helping the res yet.

Sorry was a work away from a computer
Scotty you are right on about the levee and the loading holes Hopefully the water will keep coming up it had come up probably about 2" maybe 3" from Sat. morning to Mon. morning it was easier sliding on Monday than Saturday some of it could of been that the trail hadn't been run yet But the water definitely came up a little

:rebel: That's what I thought Swamp-Fever maybe we will see ya down there ,leaving Thursday for the trip down. :rebel:

:rebel: Deuce I just returned from being down there for a week on Friday and I don't see no way that rumor could be true ,the water was no where near that deep and it actually dropped a inch and a half while I was there. there was only maybe a foot or so of water in the slews :rebel: I would half to say NO WAY
