Miller Lite and GPU Pistons

Doc Holliday

Hey....did you guys know that a Miller Lite bottle cap fits perfect in the piston rod pin hole of a 220-GPU standard piston?

Just thought you'd like to know!!!!! Damn things you learn when you're drinkin'

Git 'R Done

Doc - and how tight does it fit? I have to ask.

Cause if I was involved and beer was involved it would probably not be a loose fit and require lots of work to get it out.

Now in the event that I get a GPU and I lose my pin locks and decide I want to destroy my cylinder bores, I know what to do! :D

Do other beer caps fit as well, or just Miller Light?

Did I start this? Darn things you do after drinking substantial quantities of Miller Lite. Turns out it was an 18-pack.......I told my wife to keep me off the computer after I'd been drinking, but I guess she had her back turned......hope I didn't email anyone 'potent from work..........

As far as tolerances, 'twas a purty tight fit. The ridges 'round the edge of the cap allow it to compress into the hole quite nice. I'll see if I can round up another brand cap to test it out......

Now I don't think there's a practical application here, 'cept to plug up the overflow when the piston becomes an ashtray.........which is another story altogether.
